Ashley is originally from Clay City, Indiana. Her love for art started at a young age and her pursuit of it took her first to study at University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As life has it she moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2010 and continued to hone her crafts as she funded her art by working in Restaurant management. It was during the Pandemic in 2020 that she decided to take the huge leap and jump into Art as a full time profession. She formed her Art Studio “Create Es Me, LLC” which is housed in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina on South Saunders St. The name “Create Es Me” is simply Latin for “create my art”. Her work can be found among Raleigh businesses such as Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson and Bowstring Pizzeria and Brew Yard. As a painter Ashley specializes in mostly Commissioned Pieces. When asked why she focuses mostly on Commissioned works her reply was; “I love to see my customers reactions when they see the final product for the first time. In this crazy world we all need that little bit of joy.” She signed her fist licensing deal with Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson which culminated into a T-Shirt design currently available for sale at several Harley-Davidson dealerships across the country.
When she is not painting Ashley enjoys her 3 Motorcycles which range from Harleys to a custom chopper. She is an avid rider and gets her creativity flowing while she spends time in the wind. She is also an animal lover. On some days you will find her two furry companions with her in the Art studio while the Cat stays home as home security.
